Trader... I have no idea why the staking appears to be so random. I don't know why CUU doesn't stake more itself. For sure, there will be a lot of area that is nothing but moose pasture (no minerals, not needed for infrastructure or stategic locations for waste etc). It seems odd to have this ground sit unclaimed for years only to experience a bit of a 'rush'. Some of this general area was previously staked (circa 2008) but was forfeit by the original holder.
