I was reading an artical on the stockhouse bullboard (well a link posted) and the jist of it was that most us refineries don't have access to the wti price, instead the coastal refinies are paying the international going rate, such as brent crude.

"the few refineries that have access to the cheaper crude oil in us midwest are under no obligation to pass those savings on to customers. Instead those refineries are reaping windfall profits..."

Another post stated the the instutional holdings have increased from the lower 20's to the higher 30's. On cll.
