I agree with you that Reuters numbers look very odd here. The post that I made yesterday on this board quoted Reuters total # of shares held by instutional investors of Connacher on Tuesday, December 8 at 192,430,410 which equals 45.04%. Then today Reuters stated the total # of shares held by institutional investors of Connacher on Wednesday, December 9 was 199,529,210 which equals 46.7%. This is where I got the 7 million share increase from on my post today. After I made this post, as you indicated, I looked back at the TSX volume for Connacher which according to Globefund.com today was 3,222,576 shares traded today. Something is rotten in the state of Denmark. What to believe? There are also no reports on SEDAR as to who is doing all of the buying. Can anyone add any light on this or is Reuters just incorrect?
