My guess for the high volume of the past week is that uninformed investors are betting on a news release regarding Algar approval and jumping on board. Meanwhile the informed investors take the opportunity of the recent run up in share price combined with knowledge as to the real news situation to short at a higher sp level caused by the buying of the past ten days. If right, then we are set up for a "short raid". If I am right, then the sell off will be of brief duration but deep! Could be wrong, but I do not like the way this is setting up. I just saw this scenario played out today with another stock I own on the TSX. SVM!
