The fundamentals of Cliffs are sound ....just the technicals are awefull right now.

As far as the SPQ purchase is concerned, it will have no immediate impact on our sp. There is still lots to do before it has any material effect on the fundamentals of Cliffs.

I think the Spq deal is all but done at this point. Most spq shares are in weak hands and the merger is now all but dead. Once managment realizes they have little options left then the combined shares of the Bod and managemtent plus the mineralfields and fund arbitrage shares we should have this finished and mopped up in a month.

Would have been nice for the spq holders to get a little more but at the end of the day they have a company only one major is interested in. .......Us!

Our management is obligated to do the best for us they can.
