I could not agree more! A lot of my old friends have finally given up on ever buying stocks again. I am considering doing likewise. I have more fun, drop less money and get a more or less fair table in Vegas. I shudder to think how much better off financially I would be today if I had taken 1/2 of my stock "investments" and sewed them into a mattress and taken the other 1/2 to Vegas baby.
