I remembered seeing a CRD-5 and CRD-6 on the company drill plan.  I looked again and found CRD-6 at 4400 - 6050, can't find CRD-5.  So it looks they have had 3 failed holes out of 6.  That's a bit of bad luck.  Could it be that the current rig is not suited to this ground?  I have seen DD get off to a slow start as the crews get accustomed to the ground conditions but my experience is limited.  Just bad luck?

I don't think the point has been made clearly yet that the DD holes extend deeper than the published interval results.  Total depth;

CRD-1=844m, CRD-2=55m, CRD-3=800m, CRD-4=692m, CRD-6=117m, CRD-5=?.

Earlier I said that the DD indicated that the shape of the pipe does not narrow much with depth and CRD-3 shows this plainly on the West.  Look at the end point of CR-2 at a depth, its about ~120m.   CRD-3 ends in the same area only 600m or so deeper.  IMO connect the end points of the mineralization in each hole and you have a nearly vertical boundary (at first glance) to a depth of over 700 m!  CRD-4 ends about 120 m away at 600m and ends in mineralization.  I can see why they will need to drill DD holes deeper.  Consider this....

Can I argue that rather than the debate about grade at depth, the real story here is that the volume potential has been indicated to be potentially HUGE by this drilling.  The grade range we are discussing in the DD is high enough initially to infer that most the the material contained within the breccia body is likely to be above a yet to be determined cut-off grade.  So the real measure of this deposit will be how many mineable tonnes does it contain.  If the breccia pipe proves to be more cylindrical with depth, where it doesn't neck down in size quickly with depth, then the enclosed volume is huge and the contained ounces of gold increases significantly, even at these intial grades.  CR-2 and CRD-3 show this on the west.

My opinion is like Rock's, grade will go up with infill drilling. Who knows, maybe enough to catch the attention of those who seemed to be focusing only on grade numbers and left in droves since 4-10-08.

Not investment advice, just my ramblings.
