Website down could be for a lot of reasons. When the end comes, if it does, the new management will send out PR. They don't want to be pulled in with the past. They'll do it by the book.

Reverse split? Not sure that does anything but clean house. They are either done or they aren't.

Of course... this is just my opinion.
