You have to "flaunt and dangle" a "bait" in front of the "fish"...and then as the fish rise towards the bait, you slowly bring it in a little closer to the boat...
Now with this action we might be able to get "bait" (bid) above the water (above where you bought it at) and be able to come home with a meal!
Sorry, about the shipboard analogy...just can't give it up!
