All very interesting but do you think for a second that the majors would allow something like this to happen. Barrick, Newmont etc. etc. are competitors with Kinross and if they were aware that some sort of collusion going on between Kinross and the Ecuador government, they would blow the whistle on them in a New York minute. Great gold finds like this are obviously scarce and the majors would never allow Kinross to gain an advantage on them like this. I don't have all the answers....just my opinion.
