El próximo martes y miércoles, en Machala y Zamora continuará el diálogo minero con el cual el Gobierno busca consensos para elaborar un proyecto de ley que rija al sector. Next Tuesday and Wednesday in Machala and Zamora will continue dialogue with mining which the Government seeks consensus for a draft law governing the sector.
El Oro y Zamora Chinchipe son las provincias de operación de las grandes mineras extranjeras y donde se ha registrado malestar y los primeros efectos del mandato minero que obligó a la suspensión de actividades y del empleo a unos 360 obreros en la compañía Aurelian. I find it amazing how the govt. can go from 6 months to 1 month in the drop of a hat. Let's hope for a protest like they have never seen before so we can get this mess fixed by the end of May.
