As far as the Ecuadorian government is concerned they have zero credibility with me. They are amatures and they have flip flopped their position too many times.
Respectable governments get input from the various players. Consult with experts and then implement a reasonable law with the least amount of disruption as possible to the industry being regulated.
No one can say that is what is happening here.
Actions speak louder than words so I have a wait and see attitude.
