The future - controlled demise

Now that the sub prime fiasco affecting the housing market has essentially ended, the next phase of pain in the real estate market is about to begin as the alt-a and option arm mortgages are about to reset.

The good news is that interest rates will remain low during their resetting and the banks will be protected regardless of their losses for providing liquidity to the some 24% of the mortgages currently under water.

Of course low interest rates mean that the pressure on long term rates will continue to force the fed to print more money which means inflationary pressures will increase.

Inflation is Benrnake's lesser of two evils and the idea that you can control prices can only be controlled by government mandated wage and price controls.

Yes, in addition to owning the banks, and the auto companies, the gov't/fed will now determine the price for everything and thus what we can and can not buy.

This is the only way out of the massive debt issue and the only way to avoid complete economic chaos by allowing free market forces to function. Funny how even the most fundamental beliefs of American's have easily been changed. The propaganda machine is alive and well and the most important piece of the mechanism of indentured citizens. Those who understand democracy and free markets must really shake their heads.

The likelihood of the markets operating freely in the USA over the next 10 years is as likely as Hitler being re-incarnated and made prime minister of Israel.

If the markets aren't free neither then can the people be.

Yes our demise if easily viewed in even a cloudy crystal ball.... not just our economic freedoms but all of our freedoms will be reduced in a controlled way.

The fed/gov't and the police state have the sheople right where they need them.
