Message: Peru some news and my opinion and u might not like it

Good day abstacey

I'm rather ignorant in those terms ( businesses in Peru ), i only follow a single stock out there and i'm not into it because of a union strike possibility in peruvian mines in june as was reported sometime in may or april , i follow CMM but as for the location in Peru i would'nt know and just in case this is a wise and friendly manner of remuinding me of our purpose here then forgive me for my temper wich sometimes seems to flare like the sun . I followed the situation in Peru because of the influence it could have on the price of copper mostly , but i have known a Peruvian girl a lifetime ago and it has nothing to do with it hi hi .

I regularly read your post as most other regulars here and enjoy them even though opinions can sometimes differ . And yes i should surely refrain from expressing my thoughts so ... strongly at times in this hall of capitalism hi hi .

If i recall Peru is the second largest producer of copper in the world but CMM is primarly into gold and i'm surely not an expert on this stock that i've been following for less then 2 months now the same is true for any other stock by the way .

CMM Century Mining : S/P around $0.18 avg vol around 628,000

they're expecting to increase production in Peru to 16,000 ounces ( if things go well ) and to 6,000 in Lamaque QC. they're a 4 star rating from globeinvestor.com

-7.5% last week + 42% 3months +19.35% for one year H-L $0.28 - $0.01

-

received $65 m in april from financing through shares .

One more concern apart from their Peruvian operation , can't reach their website today !!??

Most recent news i'm aware :

NO so sorry it's not the most recent check this one at the bottom

Century Mining Announces Formation of New Wholly-Owned Subsidiary...

14:50 EDT Wednesday, June 03, 2009

BLAINE, WA, June 3 /CNW/ - Century Mining Corporation (CMM: TSX-V) announced today that it has received signed letters from 39 trade creditors who have agreed to accept shares of Century Mining Corporation in final settlement of amounts owed by the Company. The aggregate amount of trade payables settled with creditors is $1,316,368, which at a deemed issue price of $0.25 per share represents the issuance of 5,265,472 common shares of the Company. The issuance of the shares is subject to compliance with applicable securities laws and approval by the TSX Venture Exchange. The shares will be subject to a hold period of four months and a day.

On April 28, 2009 the Company issued a press release announcing the shares for debt arrangement and erroneously referred to this arrangement as a private placement. The Company is continuing to work with several trade creditors, who are evaluating the option of taking shares for debt. Over the next several weeks, Century expects to reach the aggregate amount of $2.0 million (8.0 million shares), as originally announced on April 28, 2009.

Margaret Kent, President and CEO of Century commented, "the Company's primary goal with the shares for debt arrangement is to reduce our working capital deficit as we prepare for the closing of a larger project financing for the Lamaque Mine. We are pleased that several of our creditors have elected to become shareholders of the Company."

Century Mining Announces Formation of New Wholly-Owned Subsidiary

BLAINE, WA, May 7 /CNW/ - Century Mining Corporation (CMM: TSX-V)
announced today that the formation and establishment of Lamaque Mining
Corporation (LMC) was completed on April 29, 2009. LMC is a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Century formed under applicable federal laws in Canada.
LMC was established for the specific purpose of satisfying certain
conditions set forth in the US$65 million loan underwriting commitment
received by the Company and announced on April 28, 2009, to fund the restart
of gold mining operations at Century's Lamaque Mine in Quebec. Pursuant to
conditions of the commitment, Century will transfer all assets and liabilities
associated with the Lamaque Mine into LMC, and all of the shares of LMC will
be pledged as part of the security package for the loan. Century is working
with Union Securities Ltd. and their legal representatives to complete the
documentation, including the underwriting agreement, necessary to close this
transaction.
The Company further stated that the final terms and conditions of the
debt financing are substantially the same as those originally announced by
Century on March 24, 2009. Provided documentation can be agreed upon in a
timely manner, it is anticipated that funding may be available by the middle
of June 2009.
