You explained my thoughts about U.S. cobalt production very well...

The U.S. needs this mine to be able to have their own source of cobalt without having to depend on any other entity or country for their supply of this "strategic" metal !

It would be great if we could produce more than the U.S. needs....we would be an Exporter of high grade cobalt, or we could just "stockpile" the extra material, because it will only gain in price as its rarity becomes more pronounced.

This is a Win-Win situation for the U.S.....that's why this mine is going to become so important in the future....any country that wants to make jet engine turbine blades or hybrid batteries is going to be awful hungry for this metal!

 And the product lines that will use this mineral in the future is growing exponentially....there is no way that you want to be buying this metal from people who might not be interested in the U.S. economy's downfall....
