Dissemination of news - say what? Looks like it is due to Netflix deal which must be a pretty frackin big deal:

WiLAN's (NASDAQ:WILN) Copy Protection LLC subsidiary has struck a patent licensing deal with Netflix. Terms are undisclosed.

WiLAN's beaten-down shares have surged in response. They posted smaller gains yesterday following news of an NEC licensing deal.

Back trading once more.
