1. Atlas IP (WiLan subsidiary) is schedule to go in front of CAFC first week of September.
2. WiLan vs. Kyocera on 802 patent. Kyocera tried killing the case by saying that WiLan lost to apple. However, with the likely outcome that the case is sent back for new trial, the trial should be confirmed for January of 2016
3. Judge Stark issued a really solid Markman ruling on the case against NetFlix. Based on my reading, it reads like WiLan will be able to demonstrate infringement given the broad interpretation afforded to WiLan.
4. Ericsson Trial is in September
There are close to 40 litigations underway now, including all subs that am aware of. This is the most in WiLan's history. I would expect this to continue to ramp up given the number of new partnerships formed. They should have a hundred by end of next year.
And with such diversity of patents, defendants and venues this should lead to far less volatility of outcomes for shareholders.
