OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwired - April 13, 2015) - WiLAN (TSX:WIN)(NASDAQ:WILN) today announced that Apex Chance Limited ("Apex Chance") has entered into a license agreement with WiLAN's subsidiary, Variable Lighting LLC ("Variable Lighting").

Under the terms of the agreement, Apex Chance has licensed patented technologies that relate to the control of LED lighting used in certain residential applications. The consideration to be paid to Variable Lighting and all other terms of the license agreement are confidential.

WiLAN secured the rights to license the patents through a partnership agreement that was announced in November 2014.
