WiLAN Gains on New Licensing Deal with ROHM18 hours ago

03:27 PM EST, 01/07/2015 (MT Newswires) -- Shares of WiLAN (WILN) were trading almost 5% higher at $3.04 Wednesday afternoon after saying it added another portfolio to its list of patent portfolios that are available for licensing.

The licensing company said its wholly-owned subsidiary Aquila Innovations Inc. has entered into a patent assignment agreement with ROHM Co., in which Aquila will receive full ownership of a portfolio of patents related to power management in semiconductor devices and systems.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

WILN trades in a 52-week range of $2.86 - $4.01.
