OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwired - Oct 3, 2014) - Top intellectual property licensing company, WiLAN (WIN.TO)(WILN), today announced that a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company has granted Mastercard Corporation ("Mastercard") a license to certain U.S. patents that relate to networking capabilities of non-standard devices. WiLAN secured the rights to license the patents through an agreement executed in April 2014.

The consideration to be paid by Mastercard to WiLAN and all other terms of the license agreement are confidential.
