WiLAN and Aluratek Renew Wireless Technology License Agreement

OTTAWA, Canada – August 14, 2014 – Top licensing company, WiLAN (TSX:WIN) (NASD:WILN), today announced that Aluratek, Inc. (“Aluratek”) and WiLAN have signed a patent license renewal agreement pursuant to which Aluratek receives a multi-year running royalty license to certain wireless technologies. Terms of the renewal agreement are confidential.

WiLAN first signed a patent license agreement with Aluratek in the first quarter of 2009. Aluratek, founded in 2006, is headquartered in Irvine, California. Aluratek offers a range of consumer electronic products including Bluetooth audio products, mobile power and charging products and USB video products.
