OTTAWA, CANADA--(Marketwire - Mar 22, 2013) - Wi-LAN Inc. ("WiLAN" or the "Company") (WIN.TO) (WILN) announced that yesterday a pre-trial conference was held before Judge Leonard Davis in WiLAN's 3GPP HSPA litigation involving Alcatel-Lucent, Ericsson, Sony Mobile Communications and HTC Corporation in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas. Judge Davis ordered that trial will now be "set for June, or July or possibly, early fall" rather than April 8, 2013.

Anyone know or have an opinion as to why this delay has been granted? I hope that there is settlement speak going on in order to avoid the incredible expense of a court room battle.
