In the third quarter of 2011, WiLAN sold a portion of its biometric technologies (fingerprinting) portfolio including eight U.S. Patents to an undisclosed buyer. These patents were acquired by WiLAN from Infineon Technologies Inc. in 2009. Terms of the sale are confidential and are not considered material to WiLAN.

You can bet that flipped these patents for a very tidy profit. As Jim has stated many times - they cherry-pick these patents from other co's in their negotiations, and have made millions flipping the ones that aren't essential to WIN's game plan.
