Wi-Lan (C$8.16, -C$1.19, -13%) said it plans to file an objection to certain recommendations made by a U.S. judge in its V-Chip patent-infringement case against LG Electronics. Even if the judge's recommendations are followed, Wi-Lan said the patent continues to be valid and enforceable.
I still feel this is an overeaction of stock sell.
This is a special case with LG only.
V-chip is not the only revenue Wilan has. It has so many other income from other patent families. You will find out more tomorrow.
Also, this stock is undervalue compared to the US peers.
I think Jim Skippen will appear on BNN at around 3:10PM today to explain the LG case and expectations.
Tomorrow will have a great quarter report.
I still believe in this company's business model and will be LONG for this company stock.
Great time to buy on this kind of dip. This will be once in an opportunity to get this stock for this bargain price.
GLTA,
