I don't use a smart-phone, but with femtocell and voip we're not far from real-time portable video-phones utilizing these 'home-base-stations'... didn't someone just buy skype - I think it was a telecom and that's what they're shooting at doing, if not already.

I once said one day a person would be able to stand atop the eiffel-tower talking to someone in America on a portable and hold it up n show the view in real-time' without the need for downloads/uploads - heck bet the iphone already has rt video one-to-one.
