(TSX:WIN)("Wi-LAN"), a leading technology innovation and licensing company, todayannounced that it has signed a license agreement for its U.S. and CanadianV-chip Patents with Shenyang Tongfang Multimedia Co., Limited (ShenyangTongfang). Wi-LAN also announced it has signed licenses for its CanadianV-chip Patent with Westinghouse Digital Electronics Inc. (Westinghouse) andPowerray Co., Ltd, (Powerray). These agreements provide for the payment ofrunning royalties for the lives of the Patents.Shenyang Tongfang is an OEM manufacturer of a number of electronic productsincluding LCD televisions. Westinghouse markets a full line of LCDtelevisions in Canada and the United States and other consumer electronicproducts.
