Western Potash arranges 8.51-million-share financing

WESTERN POTASH CORP. ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT

Western Potash Corp. has arranged a private placement of up to 8,514,850 flow-through shares, subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.

The shares will be issued at a price of 33 cents per share. The proceeds from this private placement will be used for further drilling and exploration of the company's Manitoba and Saskatchewan properties.

A commission may be payable in either cash or securities in accordance with the policies of the TSX Venture Exchange.
