I can`t speak for anyone else; but, I just can`t get too excited anymore about victims claiming to be victims.

There are far too many people trying to beat the system by using some new theory, or some means of gaining an advantage over someone else.

The financial services segment of our economy is out of control. The amount of money being made by many of these companies (and the individuals who work for these companies) is obscene. What value is being added?

As these companies continue to make more and more high risk loans to companies and individuals who aren`t credit-worthy, they are doing a dis-service to the economy. As interest rates rise, and the defaults accelerate, a lot of honest people who thought they had a shot at the American dream will be wiped out for a very long time, if not forever. And they will be left wondering exactly what happened to the rosy outlooks that were presented to them when they made the big plunge.

Management of most companies, including this one, knows exactly how far they can go with their optimistic outlooks to make their companies look attractive to honest investors. And then when things fall apart they have all kinds of reasons for the failure... they are still earning a salary. There is no post-mortem, no apology, no nothing. Sure we are all responsible for our own investments; but, that doesn`t make their actions right.

As cold as it sounds, I am looking forward to the day ALL of the dishonest, self-serving individuals who prey on decent, honest investors destroy each other. I find it hard to see a great value behind the services they provide... other than enriching themselves at the expense of others.

Sorry for the venting.

Jeff
