Hi Z,
Well you got me....
The speeding topic is something that I can totally relate to when travelling. I suppose that as long as I use selective objectivity on that subject, I probably shouldn`t be too critical of others. (I suppose my justification is that when driving above the speed limit, but at a lower speed than others around me, my actions aren`t affecting anyone else, short of maybe a couple percent decrease in fuel economy. In any event, I would take responsibility for my actions should any law enforcement professional question my choice of speed.)
The issue with a person acting on insider information, and then finding it necessary to complain, is actually kind of funny in a dark way. That person should probably bite the bullet and take personal responsibility for his losses. Whether he chose not to participate in the private placement because it wasn`t attractive enough to him, or whether he chose not to participate because he distrusted what he was being told by management is probably irrelevant. Should his actions ever be discovered by an enforcement agency, it would be a double-whammy to be penalized for losing his investment.
The same thing applies to other financial responsibilities, such as taxes. Those who choose to try to get away with more than they are legally entitled to should be prepared to take responsibility for their actions should they ever be caught.
Sorry if I was out of line with my generalization.
Jeff
