rubberworm,
I thought I would add my two-cents worth here on this topic, should you be looking for other opinions.
I believe that as Overstock gains some traction, people who haven`t had any interest may be taking positions in the company.
I learned a pretty important lesson through my experiences with Jag Media. Once it looked like the company was going to be removed from the DTC, the price really began to appreciate. I don`t know if anyone ever figured out whether that was caused by short interest buy-ins, or by investors speculating on a continued increase in share price. Then, when Carol Remond reported that Jag could not be removed, the price lost over half it`s value in a matter of hours. I believe that there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that ordinary investors have no way of knowing.
It`s possible that similar dynamics are working with Overstock?
But, I am far from an expert on these matters.
Take Care
Jeff
