Optimism versus Realism

I am struggling with the question of optimism versus realism and how we appear, once again, to be dealing with situations completely outside of our control.

To those posters who choose to believe that success is only around the next bend, I applaud you. I still have some hope; but, not much faith.

To those posters who challenge the optimism that sometimes overpowers other thoughts on this board, I encourage you to continue your questioning... in a respectful manner. (Not that I think that anything has been off base lately.)

If there really are any longs left, I think it is pretty hurtful to think that a lot of the activity with this stock is created by, and for the benefit, of insiders and private investors. This is strictly my opinion. But, I think the pumping that went on a little less than two weeks ago points to something much different than longs` optimism.

I believe that the board is much healthier when posters post based upon honest opinions, and not with the intent of manipulating others (as subtle as those overtones may be).

I`m really curious how many (if any) longs bought into the flurry of trading activity recently. If someone is in this stock to trade it on momentum... that`s cool. But, if someone is investing for the long term, I think it has been pretty well established that nothing significant has happened with this company for a very, very long time. Other than milking it along for the benefit of a select few. If I am wrong about this point, perhaps someone can point out what it is that I may have overlooked.

All my personal opinion.

Jeff
