Kathy,
Was Paul mad? Who prepares a formal document all in capital letters?
I`m pretty angry, and I`m afraid it will show through in this message.
That letter is a bunch of crap. Sorry to be so blunt, but it doesn`t say squat.
And, by the way, the link in the letter is also bogus. Might be a good idea for someone to proof that kind of stuff before it`s put in a legal document.
If I were a potential investor, I would demand to see the purchase orders that are being referenced. And, I wouldn`t stop there... I would seek confirmation from the issuers of the purchase orders.
If this were such a red-hot opportunity, those in the know would not have waited as long as they did to fund the venture. As with NCS, the longer you wait, the more opportunities you give your competition. How many months have gone by when production could have filled the ``orders`` that are said to be in hand.
Until shareholder value is restored, the only logical conclusion that can be drawn about the operation of Nanopierce over the last several years is that it has allowed the company`s principals (and other priveledged individuals) to make (note I didn`t say earn) a salary or benefit from an investment entry point.
I believe that an advanced middle school student could put an arguement together for a hypothetical situation in bio-tech or another technology driven industry that has as much meat as Paul`s letter. There is NO factual basis to that letter that directly (or even indirectly) gives any reasonable basis to the arguement that this venture will make money for anyone other than those on the payroll. If I am wrong in my statements... then show me the evidence.
Richard had the gumption to do what none of the rest of us did... and I applaud him for that. Why does a company need a receptionist sitting behind locked doors anyway? That makes no sense at all. Most people wouldn`t even have had the courage to knock on the door (or whatever he did) to ask the questions he asked.
This may offend some people; but, for the protection of any potential investor who stumbles across this board... for anyone who would choose to invest in this company in the absence of facts, with the optimistic and hypothetical forecasts for growth, and who knows anything about management`s track record, the only adjective that would describe their action would be ``foolish``.
What an unbelievably sad situation this has become. Through it the integrity of many investors has surfaced, as has the selfish, blind, and maybe even dishonest nature of others.
Potential investors .... please do your homework.
All my personal opinion.
Jeff
