I had had enough with Explorer's problems and switched to
Mozilla Firefox

a couple years ago.  Firefox has kept up with changes in the internet far faster than Microsoft and has far greater security.  I do not have to deal with pop up windows and have very little threat of viruses, worms, and trojans.  Even so, I do keep an active antivirus going at all times.

I was having problems with Firefox and AgoraCom.com but those problems have disappeared altogether.
