From what I read they are working on making it in about 18 months be 3D Solar - with energy produced saved to a Bio-cell for 96 hours. it could replace the grid.

What afuture we are in for with 3-D; just read they have produced a gun from 3-D imaging....scary stuff but lots of good to come from 3-D.
