G'd morning Keegie mi compadre, yer Oirish coffee is rready. You posted -->
"nice fish yesterday that was put back for another day and since september 30 is the last stream fishing day in these parts, i think that brown will get to see next opening season"
When I back packed into the high sierras of Northern Calif, about 230 years ago while still a kiddie, I ate many just about his size - well, to be honest, smaller - which is just about perfect and extremely good my friend, although above 10,000 ft it was mostly a few Goldens and Brookies. They were mostly heads becuse of the lack of suitable food in those generally frozen, treeless lakes
In the late season I generally used # 22 flies, almost too thin since they could easily cut their way out. even caught many a meal with my hands - for some reason they seem to taste even better being caught the primitive way, which is extremely effective, but brrrrr..
Remind me to tell you of swimming in the El Fuerte river nude - had to cross it twice a day when searching for the Lost Gloria Pan mine - when I found myself swimming with a huge aquatic snake, perhaps 10 - 20 + meters long interesting story here.
I sent papers to two different NW US Universities with not even the courtesy of acknowedgment, I presume that the lack of courtesy was because they 'KNEW' such things do not exist.
Don Jose de La Mancha
p.s. I never swam nude after sheesh
