Just my two cents on the debt ceiling. There is too much at stake for an increase not to get done. A Tsunami of US treasuries would hit the market on another gov't default after Oct. 17th. (The US effectively defaulted in 1971). On top of that, it is a phony debt ceiling. Real US debt is well over $200 trillion when considering unfunded liabilities. So what's another trillion bucks or so? SMF
