We all have confidence that UC will declare commercial production within the next couple of weeks. This forum has speculated our breakeven at significantly less than the lowest price for Ag & Au seen YTD. Austere times require austere measures and I am certain that there are efficiencies to be found to keep us in the green now that we've learned how.
I am concerned about the future of the TSXVenture exchange and even if it somehow survives, I believe that there will be no $$ interest in investing in a dead money pool. So how do we get management to consider stepping out from behind the curtain and qualifying for the TSX BIG BOARD once we are a 'going concern' ??
BTW: Calgary is recovering nicely from the flooding that you may have heard about. Downtown is still a mess and will be for a while but we don't drill, produce or ship O&G from there so I suspect there will be some realization of redundancy that will make the industry leaner for the experience. The downtown Municipal infrastructure is wet & muddy. Today I heard speculation that City Hall may be closed for 6 weeks - so no new rules this summer !! The water treatment and waste water treatment plants never faltered in capability or capacity. I do not mean to downplay the devastation and suffering those 100,000 souls have survived, we are a tough bunch and we mind our own - - - deviant migration to the frontier - - - what doesn't kill us makes us stronger - - - and all that stuff.
