We're in volatile times...

Every financial/precious metal expert/head is weighing in on a daily basis about the latest carnage in gold and silver. They are offering various opinions on why this is happening and how the typical investor can best position themselves in such a turbulent market. Some of these videos are pretty intense, as the speakers are quite passionate about the subject and have been beating their drum for years. None of us can be certain how this fluid situation will play out, as we do our best to manage our own affairs.
I for one appreciate various points of view on the sector and look at 99% of what is offered here by my fellow posters/investors. Yesterday I posted a link to an Eric Sprott/Skype interview in response to a question by another poster. As I was reviewing the piece before posting it, I found there to be many interesting points made regarding silver and thought it worth a listen for others.
When I came on the hub this morning I thought I was entering the United Nations. Can't remember a time when I have seen so many different colored flags flying. A few thoughts of my own... Perhaps when a member posts a link, they can take a moment to explain the content, speaker and why they deem it useful for the hub. If another member is interested, they can watch, if not, they can skip the post.
We're in a holding pattern with UC, but the sector is suffering. Posts on precious metals are clearly on-topic and relevant here. If Jim buys Don Jose and his mule a coffee, I personally want to hear about it. The two are friends and much can be communicated in a face to face with tone and expression, even if important information can't be shared. Berta is a colorful, incredibly intelligent man who knows more about mining and the local conditions then 99% of us here. His contributions are very important...as are YOURS!
Agora doesn't offer an ignore button. Members quickly discover who they wish to read and will avoid the rest. This hub is great because of the varied skill set and opinions each poster brings. Let us be patient with each other and allow each poster the freedom to express themselves.
Thank-you,
