watched a discovery program 2 nights back also about silver recovery but 3 miles down in the english channel. it came from a ship sunk in 1941 and was reputed to have many silver bars aboard.

pretty neat stuff watching the manoeuvering going on as an operator on the surface guided a remote heavy duty machine to rip apart the vessel in search of a specific room.

and when they brought what they thought was a silver bar to the surface, they brought out a metal analysis gun like those used in the ring of fire, to give a quick and accurate result. those guns cost more than $200,000. the gun was put to the bar and the desired metal was dialed in. instant response with the percentage of silver.

and it was silver. they then proceeded to bring to the surface $42,000,000 worth!!

anyway, the gun was great to see. jim does not require a gun as gerardo seems to be finding a lot of, not only surface veins but veins in the already dug shafts.

i do not need jim to recover $42,000,000 in silver. $40,000,000 would be fine by me.

off to the bush for the day. a much better alternative again today than watching the market antics.
