I know I will pay the tax on the deemed dispo. Not a problem there. I went back to being self employed and bought another truck. Can set my own fiscal year end so when I do pull the shares out, it will be taxed at low marginal rate on a very low priced stock. Then when these shares grow to a mountain of value, I won't get hit with tax, nor does the income have any bearing on OAS. Blew off most of my RSP's trying to save me last company, but down the bowl she swirled anyhow. No big deal. Read Invictus with good beer buzz on, woke up the next day with a sore, but clear head. Moved on. Back in the high life again, at least until the wheels fall off again, at which time more Invictus and beer. Rinse and repeat.

I hooe that all the other punters out there notice that the 2 Kings are filluppin their boots. That's what leaders do. They lead.
