There always are, since the values in the tailings come from different values of ores. No ore body is consistantly the same in recoverable values. The input of the tailings to the mill should be assayed every so often for max extraction at min cost and time.

This is where an AAA is valuable, since an assay can be made quickly, instead of hours by standard fire assay.
