Hello Don Jose de la Mancha- I have owned UC only since April 2010 however I have read on this board a couple owners for many more years and have commented about this SP not increasing as expected and leaving. Admittedly only a few such shareholders but in the past year while Jim has put the mine into productiom (which should be a Good Thing?) the SP has reduced by amost 50% ,I would not call that a stock with moderate gains. Obviously the market has been bad but there have been juniors that have done well and there have been juniors that have done worse (not Much though). I believe the Juniors time will come but why do we continue to go down while the mine moves ahead? I am not a geologist or ever had anything to do with mining (Banker for 35yrs in Canada) I belive Jim is being paid to manange that but I can only base my investment on the only tangable item and that is SP , after 18 mos I did not expect nor appreciate a 25% loss on a producing gold/silver mine in Mexico.

I always told my customers to Focus on their Knitting when they wanted to take on an additional line of business. Once they has the one operation self sufficient then slowly look at branching out therefore if the one business had problems(they all do) the other may if they wish be able to carry for a while. I just feel the FMG operation was not required at this time and Jim is best to get one operation operating at high efficiency than have two companies with both shareholders not 100% happy while being compensated by both entities. I am not hard to please just Show Me the Money. Just My Humble Opinion.
