Me eyeball keeps going back to that 2006, July release about Soledad. I keep thinkin that we should get a mine permit for this spot, blast the crap out of it, scoop er up and drop the rocks at our mill in La Yesca.
The rock averages over $4000 a ton and as high as $10,000 a ton, 50 feet below old workings and only about 300 feet down.
Could you not crawl it out of there with a Cat or a wheeled Terex or some such and run it the 400 miles down the road? This stuff is worth $250,000 or so on a 40 ton load. Am I nuts or is something like this doable.
Don Jose and Hoov and Sudbury and others have seen these places and they do seem somewhat of a challenge, logistically speaking.
When the stuff is worth a quarter million a load though, we all know how creative minds can resolve such issues.
Cherry pick the good stuff for the next few years, following the veins, then drag the mill up there. or build another mill or custom mill the rocks nearby. Beats me. Just seems that $10,000 a ton rock ought to be crunched.
Of course I defer to the wisdom of real miners, and wonder if some type of plan is on their minds. Another part of the master plan I look forward to hearing about from Jim et al.
I have received no assay results on my garden dirt, but the good news is about a dozen gladiolas have popped their noodles through the earth and are doing well.
