This is an absolutely crucial issue for Northern Ontario. The Queen's Park Government's response to date has been unacceptable. The Government, be it Liberal, Conservative or NDP must respond to the needs of Northern Ontario and the power issue is a leading edge concern.

Yes, the placement of the smelter is important. But the overall economic needs of Northern Ontario are paramount and critical for the future of Ontario as a whole.
