Hi Don Jose,

For some on-topic, I'm trying to pick up some UCRLF at $0.10 for a friend in the US, as I do have confidence in the prospects for UC. Just darned frustrated with the delays so far. I may raise the bid to $0.105

As for Belize, you can find overgrown Mayan habitats, burial sites, and minor temples everywhere. The population density of the Mayans, at their height, must have been incredible. Archeological exploration is really slow, as funds are limited. Only the most important sites (discovered so far) are being slowly uncovered (if they can bring in tourist revenue). My daughter finds artifacts and ruins almost daily on her property. It is heavily forested hillside property, overlooking a beautiful broad valley. Not another house in sight, and a 1 1/2 mile walk on dirt roads to the highway, then the bus to school each day. She could use a mule...lol. Roads there are often flooded this time of year, due to hurricane rains, but she takes it in stride....and ruins her shoes.

We avoid the niguas (you mean ticks - right?), and haven't had any real problems with them, but the fireants get me every time. Leila catches every snake she can, and sends me pictures, and I know that she is very aware of which is which, and how to handle the more poisonous varieties. Army ants clean her house of scorpions and other pests every several months, which is good, but otherwise you just can't keep scorpions, giant spiders, etc out. A tarantula lives inside, near the front door (in a crevice in the concrete), and vacates when the ants invade, and returns after the ants have gone. It has lived there for several years, and is valued as pest control. Probably about 4 inches dia. including legs, so not too big or dangerous.

I'll pass on your regards, and am sure she will get a kick out of that. Hoping we can all visit the UC minesite (and ECU as well) when sentiment finally returns to our poor junior miners.

Adios,

N

PS: Just got the UCRLF for $0.105
