SRV was a magician of the Strato... but lets not forget that he could handle a 12-string with magical touch! OT, but sad day... Leaving so young, 35 y.o., and in such a tragical way. He was and is still part of the GIants! Hard to compare, but he can stands on the higher stage, with the Hendricks, the Pages, the Blackmores and the Claptons of this world, to name just a few... Most of all, he succeeded a desintox battle, and lived a drugs-free life until the tragical ending. Pure, inspired, unimitable electric guitar style! His solos were just 'big'! Unforgetable. A first-class guitarist!
