Generally, I think this guy is saying is that short term, when the market initially gets hit hard, gold stocks get hit along with the rest of them. However, mid to long term gold stocks follow gold if not even out perform the metal by a bit. Gold stocks = leverage on the metal I guess? Thoughts?

Tomorrow I will see what I can come up with for info on how well PM stocks did 1978-1982 or so. My guess is they went way over the top for a while.
