Message: So it's May.....

good morning Sum my friend: You posted -->

any thoughts on news being that April was to be a first run?

************************

Yep, lots. However as that date was originally meant for first shake out runs, I would relax.

So many things have to be set up for the actual projected test runs, that it is almost impossible to state when the first 'production' run may be.

You have to adjust, moving and excavating time, regrinding, processing (Cyanide cycle) for max economical extraction, and not the least, removal of the precous metals from the pregnant Cy solution.

As an example, in the mine that I worked as the assayer, they would put in 3 grams Au ore, cyanide it for 3 days then attempt to extract the Au, Ag with zinc. The final result was that they threw 3 grams in the tailings, all was effectively lost.

After I had overhauled and recalibrated the Perkins AA, I quickly found out that 27 hrs gave them the max economcal extraction for that type of ore, 2.5 grams. It seems that there was a cyanicide and an organic materiel which slowly went into solution and effective started displacing the Au, Ag so by the three days originally set up, only less than one gram was left, and that was not being picked up by their Merril-Crowe setup.

However no one listened to me since they wanted that last bit of AU, which they never got. sigh

And so it will be with Jim and his team, They have to find the max economical profit part of the recovery curve.

Also they will undoubtedly find mechanical and personal problems that will have to be smoothed out.

Patience my friend, as I mentioned, I am sure that Jim and his crew are just as impatient to get things running smoothly as you are.
