A clarificaton

Good morning Ladies & Gentlemen: A bit of clarification and a smooch or two to Sudbury and Aaf for their undeserved, but 'ego luvin', statements about me, my Tiger, Bert , whole heartedly agrees with this as being an ahh, err. a political non truth. she simply calls it BS. sigh.. Of course I myself, would just love to fit that romantic description, but, sigh, a Stewart Granger I AIN"T.

A) As I have repeatedly mentioned, there was no 'commercial interest' in our meeting in Hermosillo. I have had Em contact with both Sudbury and Hoov for some time via the Noront and FWR forums. Like most in here, we were curious about each other and took advantage of Jim's lay over in Hermosillo to meet for a few short hours, and believe me, they were far too short. That group has a fascinating bag of stories to tell, from early experiences in the mining field, to La Yecsca - which I had never heard of before. They even included that big one that got away - Jim v is apparantly a lousy fisherman and snow moblie driver.

This is a group that I could spend hours with around a lonely camp fire just talking and guzzling gallons of hot black coffee. I didn't find one that didn't just plainly reek of professional ability and confidence in the future of UC.

B) Naturally I invted them to visit me at Tayopa some day in the future, at their expense of course, snicker, but mostly to study a unique geological occurance. The country up there makes La Yesca look positively flat - hint Jim C - here too the peaks were scalped to form a road. At one point the road is perhaps 35 ft wide, with a 75* drop off on the East for some 800 ', on the West the same for 900'. It is 52 kilometers and takes 5 1/2 - 6 hrs in good weather, in bad, make that days.

C) I do apologize for bringing personal anecdotes into the forum, but tend to excuse it due to lack of other emotional mining news just now. The news will come later this year so relax, be patient, and be tolorant of my occasional stories or I won't tell you of having to delicately and politically turn down the honor of being a guest at a cannibal feast in the Solomons. No, I wasn't the main course, that was reserved for a 'Long Mary'. some unfortunate young female.

D) Final bit of ----- About the 'Don Jose de La Mancha'. That evolved in the internet forums from seeing some egotisticial ones demeaning of just being plainly over bearing and abusive to others that they considered lesser educated etc. than themselves, I became Don Jose, but instead ot tilting windmills, I tilted their egos. It was / is fun.

For a while I used 'Til Oulenspiegle', a mythical German Prankster that loved to expose exagerated egos by doing tricks to reveal their faulty egos to themselves. I was the first sigh.
