I don't get this either, Shumi, in view of the recent upbeat activity, but may I suggest "investor fatigue"? Also, Jim V's recent trip to Mexico with "the boys" while a plus, was only known in our quite limited circle. Another speculative thought is that with all the recent warnings of an imminent "all markets" crash, enough investors are selling out on strength to be quite noticeable.

I, too, would welcome a more well-founded explanation. Barring the proverbial "black swan" event, I am expecting the markets to hold up for a couple more years, due to the mamoth amounts of money being pumped into the world economy by the CBs. Too much cash sloshing around for the markets to dry up but there should be plenty of volatility in this environment. so it's not going to be "up up and away"!
